Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Very light post-holiday run with a Feeder Special planned for next week. Supply light and demand moderate. Cows and bulls accounted for 52 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply consisted of 53 percent steers and Holstein steers and 47 percent heifers; just 05 percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
