   Not enough feeder cattle on offer to test the market. Very light run this
week ahead of next weeks Feeder Special with a good run of yearlings expected.
Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Supply light and demand moderate. Cows and
bulls accounted for 50 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply
consisted of 52 percent steers and bulls and 48 percent heifers; 49 percent of
all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
 
   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 458 lbs 271.00.  Medium and Large 2 
pkg 772 lbs 185.00.
 
   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1  pkg 368 lbs 261.00; few 500-600 lbs
220.50.  Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 482 lbs 223.50; 500-600 lbs 205.00-211.50;
600-700 lbs 192.00-194.00; 700-800 lbs 179.50-188.25.  Medium and Large 2  pkg
670 lbs 169.50. 
 
   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 220.00-270.00; 500-600 lbs
209.00-253.00; 600-700 lbs 165.00-207.00; 700-800 llbs 184.50-192.00.
