Cattle Auction Report for 11/19/13                 
 
Receipts:  704    Last Week:  641    Year Ago:  721  
 
   Compared to last week, feeder steers under 550 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher, 
heavier weights steady to 2.00 lower.  Feeder heifers 1.00 to 3.00 higher. 
Slaughter cows 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a large number of cows of good size and 
dressing percentage coming to town this week. This weeks feeder offering had a 
high percentage of heifer cattle, including a part load of true heavy weight 
yearlings. Supply and demand moderate.  Cows and bulls accounted for 23 percent 
of the total offering.  The feeder supply consisted of 24 percent steers, 22 
percent bulls and 54 percent heifers; 59 percent of all the feeder cattle 
weighed over 600 lbs.
 
   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 210.00-213.00; 500-600 lbs 
172.00-173.00, pkg 544 lbs fleshy 168.50; 600-700 lbs 165.50-170.00; 700-800 lbs
