One of the most important function any livestock market preforms for its consigning customers is to clear the checks on the livestock sold at the terms agreed upon. With that understanding it is important for any buyer to have a credit history with our market or supply the information we need to qualify a new buyer. It is likely that at some point our trade association and regulators will need to have details of buyers on file, to which all buyers new and old are incouraged to provide our office with the information and signatures on the buyers form.
To limit any potential problems it is advised that any new buyer that has not established a credit history with our company should notify our office that they intend on participation as a buyer and fill out the buyers registration form a week prior to the sale day. In some cases the lead time can be shortened, but a week prior is much easier on everyone.
